Label 8 are a boutique marketing and PR agency specialising in the fashion, lifestyle and beauty sectors. We were commissioned to rebrand the agency and to refresh their online presence. Label 8 are a little different from other marketing and fashion PR companies. Owner of Label 8 Nicola Fulstow, in addition to over 15 years marketing expertise, has nearly 8 years experience as a private Personal Shopper. A part of this time was spent setting up and running a personal shopping suite at renowned luxury store Selfridges. With this in mind we needed to ensure that the end result was confident and bold and would appeal to the discerning brands who instruct the agency.

The agency specialise in working with brands that want to attract a female audience in the age range of approximately 25 – 55, with a geographical leaning towards the North West of England. Label8 have generated revenue, increased ATV and brought custom to fashion retailers across the North West. They have been quoted as authorities on fashion and style in publications such as Daily Mail, Daily Express, The Lady Magazine, Candis Magazine, MEN, Cheshire Life, Live Cheshire.

With these factors in mind we wanted reflect their position in the market and ensure the end product provided a future proof solution to serve them as they consolidate and grow. We wanted to create a logo that would serve the agency well. By deconstructing the name and condensing it to an ‘L’ and an ‘8’ we developed a simple, stand out identity. We knew the website had to be visually appealing and aimed in no-nonsense terms at the target audience. In view of this we ensured that strong, hero images were used in conjunction with punchy text to reflect key areas for the business.
