Selborne Chambers is a strong Chancery set with a growing profile in civil fraud and commercial litigation, where it is ‘a cost-effective alternative’. It is often singled out as ‘one of the best property sets in ensuring availability of counsel’. Chambers has ‘good-quality, reliable advocates’ managed by ‘first-rate clerks’ who are ‘very approachable and make a concerted effort to get to know instructing solicitors at all levels’.
Studio Jo and Co were commissioned to design a suite of marketing materials for the Pupillage fair. In addition to upgrading the existing colour palette, we gave a fresh look and feel to Chambers folders, general brochure, exhibition stands and pupillage brochure.
We wanted to keep the information easy to understand. The overarching concept was to use a dotted line to represent both the client and pupil journey, to lead the audience around the document to ensure simple navigation and a clear information hierarchy. We moved away from using traditional barristerial imagery, instead concentrating on working with architectural shots of commercial London.
The end result is a true reflection of Selborne Chambers position as a modern, progressive set.
